RICHARD MARVIN (Composer) has forged a career as rich and unique in musical textures as the diversity of projects with which he has been involved. U-571 serves as a reteaming for Marvin with director Jonathan Mostow. The two first collaborated on Flight of Black Angel, the first film in each of their respective careers. Marvin then went on to compose additional music for Mostow's Breakdown, which was also produced by Dino and Martha De Laurentiis.

Some of Marvin's many additional film credits include: Interceptor, 3 Ninjas, Final Mission, 3 Ninjas Kick Back and Escape Clause. Most recently he scored the television movies Absence of the Good, Killers in the House, Goldrush: A Real Life Alaskan Adventure, The Perfect Getaway and Balloon Farm.
